Timothy Gutierrez, DDS

Dr. Timothy Gutierrez is a native Texan, born and raised in Corpus Christi where the dream to become a doctor began early on in grade school. After graduating from Foy H. Moody High at the top of his class, he headed south to attend college at the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. It was in undergraduate school where he experienced art courses that allowed him to sculpt and create in porcelain and ceramic media. Ultimately Dr. Gutierrez decided that becoming a dentist would be the perfect fit to combine his artistic ability with the aspiration to truly help people in need.

Following a short three years at UT Pan Am, Dr. Gutierrez was accepted early to the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch in Houston, Texas. It was in the halls of the dental school that he met and fell in love with his wife, Ruby. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005 and he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May 2007. Today they live in Katy, Texas where they are raising two young men, Matthew and Jonah.

Dr. Gutierrez has also completed the prestigious Preceptorship in Dental Implantology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2012. Shortly after, he earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) while taking extensive continuing education in the field of TMJ rehabilitation. Always striving to learn the newest cutting edge dental techniques and procedures, Dr. Gutierrez is currently working toward his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

When not providing optimum dental care, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys spending time with his family doing all the exciting things Houston has to offer, as well as watching his two sons play football and soccer. When back in his hometown, nothing gets better than salt water fishing and baseball games at Whataburger Field watching the Corpus Christi Hooks.
